March 3-6 was our annual leaders and pastors retreat for Life Springs Ministries Malaysia. This year we were able to meet at the beachfront hotel in Penang - an island off the northwest coast of Malaysia. Susan Todd from South Carolina was our main speaker. She was well received and the pastors expressed their delight in her ministry. As each session unfolded, a theme word became evident. Words like - rest, relax, rejoice, reap, rediscover, reign, restore & receive were just some of what we heard this week. In addition, one of the themes pointed the leaders to seek the Lord for their "new" name. After our sessions concluded and we were on the beach as a group, we "sang" about this theme by chanting "Baru, Baru" - the Malay word for new. As the week concluded it was evident that everyone present was blessed & refreshed!
