Sara Grace turned 11 on February 28. Her day was filled with food, folks and fun!! Let's start with the folks. The team of 12 people from the US that travelled to Aceh spent their last day in Singapore on her birthday. The fun thing that we did was to take a tour on the Duck boat! The Vietnam era military craft is being used to show folks the land and water sights of Singapore! The one hour tour brought us around the Marina Bay area where we saw the financial district towers, the Esplanade, the Merlion and the partially built Singapore Ferris Wheel (it will be even larger and taller than the London Eye!). Afterwards, we had some food and souvenir shopping in China town. Later in the day we had a great final meal with the team that we also used to celebrate Sara Grace's birthday! It was a great day for Sara Grace. Her big gift was to receive a new digital camera! We might be using one of her shots on this blog one day soon!!
